Confidence is everything at the controls of a machine, and New Holland D-Series excavators give you exactly that.   Each track drive unit incorporates five bottom rollers in addition to the drive wheel and idler wheel, providing optimal weight distribution for a long, stable, sure-footed footprint and maximum traction. The D-Series is available with a full suite of track options offering a match for every situation. From narrow options to suit confined circumstances to wider alternatives where maximum flotation is crucial, D-Series excavators can be equipped for every eventuality.

Because the counterweight does not extend beyond the tracks, New Holland zero tail-swing design gives you the ability to work in the tightest spots without compromising performance or safety. With a machine that’s easier to operate safely, you also benefit from greater productivity. Reduced likelihood of accidental damage to the machine or the work zone reduces the likelihood of accidental damage and the need for repairs. As a result, your work plans stay on track.

For applications where extra performance may be needed, New Holland D-Series design allows you to customise the capacity of your machine according to the job requirements. Optional extra counterweights can be easily added to the rear of these machines to further boost their performance.

Standard on the E70D and E90D, the New Holland mono-boom offers exceptional manoeuvrability, making it easy to operate in constricted areas alongside obstacles such as walls or trenches. The need to make movements and adjustments is much reduced as a result, considerably boosting efficiency.

With an additional articulation point in the nearmost boom element, the New Holland two-piece boom provides even greater flexibility and bucket position control, particularly in confined situations. It also allows you to reach further and dump higher, making it ideal for tasks like filling hoppers and trucks, and digging trenches, working under obstructions, or digging close to the machine. 

Matching format of larger excavators, the side-boom design of the New Holland E85D anchors the boom close to the centre of the machine. The result is maximum stability, more lift capacity and greater dump height. In addition, while the bucket is fully in your line of sight, you get unobstructed forward visibility.

Available on all New Holland MIDI Excavators, the optional six-way blade allows you to doze, grade to either side enabling more precise contouring and shaping of the terrain, easier and faster trenches backfilling, and much more. 

The large dozer blade is designed for shifting serious amounts of soil and other loose materials. It gives you the capacity you need to finish jobs fast.

A floating mode makes it easy to scrape surfaces and level the land. The blade is free to move up and down following the unevenness of the ground and simply resting on the ground by gravity. The floating mode is useful for ground levelling operations performed in reverse.

The cylinder of the dozer blade can be provided with a block valve that prevents sudden loss of stability in case of unexpected damages to the hydraulic hoses.

Hydraulic capacity heads up every list when it comes to customer wants in an excavator. With the New Holland D-Series, you won’t be disappointed. These machines provide optimal flow and pressure for any task, with superior precision enabled by an advanced electronically controlled hydraulic system. New Holland offers a range of quick-couplers to meet your attachment requirements. Auxiliary hydraulics, including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd auxiliary circuits, are fully-customisable for flow, sensitivity and speed of de/activation. An exclusive constant-flow option is ideal for powering attachments such as a mulcher or flail head.

The E70D zero tail-swing mono-boom and E75D short-radius two-piece boom models are powered by 60hp Kubota engines. Stage V-compliant, they require no DEF/AdBlue. Eco, Standard and Power throttle management modes allow you to maximise workrates and efficiency.

To match the additional capacity of the E85D, E90D and E100D, they are equipped with Stage V Yanmar engines that produce 73hp. Like the power plants in the E70D and E75D, they have no DEF/AdBlue requirement, and incorporate Eco, Standard and Power throttle management modes.

For tasks requiring extended travel and turning, such as leveling or grading with the dozer blade, you can activate the skid-steer travel mode. This mode reconfigures the controls, allowing the left joystick to manage both steering and forward/reverse travel, eliminating the need for travel pedals and enhancing operator comfort. This is a standard feature on E85D, E90D and E100D.

Eco-friendly hydraulic oil and grease are suitable for use in environmentally sensitive areas, they reduce the risk of contamination in the event of accidental spillage, while minimising direct and indirect legal consequences, additionally, bio-hydraulic oil reduces maintenance costs due to its extended drain intervals compared to mineral oil.

An electronic fuel refill pump with auto-stop makes on-site refuelling easy. You can quickly and cleanly replenish the fuel tank wherever your work takes you. The auto-stop allows you to do other maintenance jobs without risk of fuel spillage when the fuel tank is full.

The Auxiliary 1 constant flow function can be used to provide constant oil flow to power a mulcher or flail mower/hedge cutter. The system enables the mulching head to operate seamlessly while the machine is in motion or the arm is being repositioned.

Standard on all models, Auxiliary 2 can be used to control the rotation movement of an attachment such as a grapple or a sorting grab. It is controlled with the electro-proportional roller on the right or left joystick.

Normally used to control an additional attachment movement, this can be used with attachments such as a tiltable clamshell. It is controlled with the electro-proportional roller from the right or left joystick.

This mechanical double-acting hydraulic system option, by means of two mechanical diverters, intercepts the pipes of the bucket cylinder and makes them available for the connection of attachments that require a reduced oil flow rate. It can be used for equipment with no need to move the bucket cylinder.

For equipment such as a mulcher that requires drainage of oil without back pressure, a drainage line is installed on the second arm. This drains directly to the tank. Being a drainage line, it does not require any control.

A wide range of attachments and quick coupler, carefully tested and optimised for each model, significantly expands the machines’ capabilities and application versatility. New Holland offers a range of quick-couplers to meet your attachment requirements to facilitate attachment change over. They include semi-automatic mechanical with spring closure and manual opening, single-effect with spring closure and hydraulic opening, and double-effect with hydraulic opening/closing. Buckets, flail mower, augers, wood grapples and many other attachments are available too.

All important machine operating data is gathered on the D-Series display adjacent to the right front cab pillar. Everything you need to know is easily readable at a glance, in bright sunshine or at night. The screen can also be used to quickly and easily alter settings such as flow rates and sensitivity. Integrated into the rear of the machine, the view from the standard camera is also displayed on the operating terminal. Manoeuvering is made easier - and safety is assured.

New Holland D-Series MIDI Excavators are fitted with a full complement of worklights to ensure you can keep working whatever the conditions or time of day. Every model features carefully-located LED lights to provide maximum penetration in dark conditions and low light levels. 

A forward-tilting cab design makes access to the heart of the machine easy. It takes a matter of seconds to raise, and puts all important components in front of you. Other at hand thanks to side panels that open fully for servicing. Key components and daily service checks can be accessed from ground level – there’s no need to clamber on the machine.

Cab filters are also easy to access, making cleaning simple and easy and ensuring you keep fresh air coming into the cab whatever the conditions.

The hydraulically powered radiator fan automatically adjusts its speed based on demand. Sensors monitor coolant and hydraulic oil temperatures, allowing the system to optimise fan speed for efficient cooling and minimal noise. A programmable auto-reverse function keeps grilles clear of debris.
